Stefan Bungart

Dr. Stefan Bungart is the European Business Development Leader for Internet of Everything in Manufacturing with CISCO, leading product & market strategy, partnerships, channel development, and customer projects. Before joining CISCO Stefan Bungart led General Electric’s Industrial Internet initiative in Europe, working with both GE businesses and customers, creating new services & data applications. Prior to GE he held the position of Senior Vice President with Deutsche Telekom in Germany, leading initiatives to build new services in Energy, Healthcare and Automotive, outside the traditional areas of landline and mobile communications. Before joining Deutsche Telekom Stefan Bungart worked for IBM. He held various leadership roles in Marketing and Sales, most recently working as Marketing Manager for Europe and Innovation Leader for Germany. Stefan Bungart holds a PhD in Business Studies from Coventry University. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and the Institute for Transport and Logistics in the UK. He lived and worked in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Singapore.
