IACOPO CARRERAS

Iacopo is the CEO of U-Hopper (www.u-hopper.com), a spin off of CREATE-NET research center. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Pisa. He has been working in ICT for more than 15 years, in both industry and research. Iacopo authored more than 80 publications in the field of ICT and pervasive and ubiquitous computing. He founded U-Hopper in late 2010, and has been CEO since the inception of the company. He is passionate about technology and how it can change and enhance our daily life and, on a larger scale, the world.
